Therapy.

Beginning personal therapy is a significant step, and finding a therapist who you feel able to work with is crucial. Each individual has their own story and motivations for seeking therapy. I believe that the foundation of effective therapy lies in building a strong, supportive relationship and creating a secure, nurturing space that encourages exploration and growth.

I usually invite potential clients to engage in an introductory telephone conversation where we can explore your therapeutic needs in more detail. This also provides us with an opportunity to get a feel for what it might be like to work together. If you wish to go ahead with therapy we will find a regular time and day each week for your appointments. Having a regular appointment time is important, as it is part of building a trusting, reliable and consistent therapeutic partnership.
